Police Records Requests

Please note that the Police Department does not accept request via fax or email.  Requests submitted in those formats will be returned for re-submission which will delay processing. 

Please use the Police Records Request Form (writable PDF format) to submit your written request in person or by mail as detailed below.

All requests are taken in the order received.  Reports are not released "on the spot."  Once your request is received, the Records Division will respond within five (5) business days (RCW 42.17.320).  The report will be mailed or ready for pick-up within these five days or you will receive a letter stating more time is required to respond to the request.  You may be required to pick a report up in person and present photo ID.

Case report fee: $5.00 - five pages or less (more than five pages: $5.00 + .15 each additional page)
