Records
Records Division

The Records Division is open to the public from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.  The Division consists of six Support Services Specialist and one supervisor.  The Specialist are responsible for the standardization, accuracy, security and release of police case reports and records.  The staff handles all main office phone calls as well as assisting visitors at the Police reception window in the Public Safety Building.  Their duties require high level skills and knowledge of  current RCWs and other laws relating to records and law enforcement operations

Other duties Include:

  • Fingerprinting
  • False Alarm Reduction Program
  • Authorization of Concealed Pistol Licenses
  • Authorization of Gun Transfers
  • Monthly statistical reports to the State
  • Strict compliance of dissemination of public records
  • Citation and Infraction entry
  • Criminal Record expungements, seals and vacates
