The Records Division is open to the public from 8:00
a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Specialists are
responsible for the standardization, accuracy, security, and release of
police case reports and records. The staff handles all main office phone
calls as well as assisting visitors in the Public
Safety Building.

Technicians are critical to maintaining an
uninterrupted chain of custody for property and evidence, supporting
investigations, assisting in successful prosecution at criminal and civil
trials, and protecting all property submitted as evidence.
They are responsible for holding found property submitted to the police.
