The most reported property crime in the City of Redmond is vehicle prowl.  With the number of Global Positioning System (GPS) owners, that crime continues to be an issue because units are often left in an unoccupied vehicle.  Be certain to remove all valuable items like GPS units, purses, cell phones, paperwork with identification numbers, and any accessories from these items.  Something as small as a phone or GPS charger is a sign for prowlers that those items may be elsewhere in the vehicle.
