Operation Identification
Operation Identification is a program to assist home and business owners in properly marking and recording their valuables. Through the use of engravers loaned to the public by our Department, you are encouraged to engrave your Washington State Drivers License number on all valuable property. This procedure not only proves to be a deterrent to theft, but also increases the possibility of identifying and returning your property if ever stolen.

Police Department Tours
A guided tour of the Redmond Police Department provides children an opportunity to view the many different divisions of the Redmond Police Department. During the tour, children are encouraged to ask questions to give them a better understanding of what members of the department do on a daily basis. The tour gives children an opportunity to communicate with officers in a positive manner and teaches them that police officers are someone to approach when they need help.
