two-hour program teaches crime prevention techniques; it is not a
self-defense course. The focus is on awareness and strategies to help a woman
reduce the possibility of becoming a victim of crime. It provides an overview of
how to reduce risk, better protect yourself, and take proper precautions in your
home, away from home, in your vehicle, and more. It is appropriate for women
ages 15 and older.

Captains of current Neighborhood Watch programs and anyone interested in learning more
about the Neighborhood Watch program are urged to attend. Neighborhood
Watch is a program that encourages citizens to know their neighbors and
watch out for one another. It involves a partnership between citizens and
the Redmond Police Department.

The one-hour child safety course is recommended and appropriate for children ages 6-12.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. This is a prevention course
designed to teach children and parents how to avoid dangerous situations. The focus is awareness and other simple concepts
that can help children reduce their chance of becoming a victim.

90-minute class informs you how people fall victim of ID Theft and ways to
prevent it.

Workplace violence is a serious issue and can cover many areas, from domestic
violence that works its way into the working environment to
irate customers or colleagues. Attend this session to learn more about
workplace violence, how to handle it, and what can cause it.

The emphasis of this program
is to educate senior adults about crimes they are most likely to be
the victims of due to their age. Scams and frauds are discussed along with basic
safety practices that can easily be incorporated into the senior adult's daily
activities such as how to carry belongings, cash monitoring, and the buddy
system. We prefer to come to a central location to present this class
