The Eastside Narcotics Task Force was formed in 1981 and is comprised of members from six local Eastside police agencies which include Redmond, Bellevue, Kirkland, Mercer Island, Issaquah, and King County. In addition, there are representatives from the Drug Enforcement Administration, King County Prosecuting Attorney, and the Washington National Guard.
