Requests for Inspection
All Inspection Requests are now be made through our new Interactive Voice Response System, DirectRequest. With DirectRequest you can schedule an Inspection with any City organization involved with Development Review. You may also cancel a Scheduled Inspection, obtain Inspection Results, check the status of projects that are currently in the Plan Review process, receive a Permit Inspection History by fax or check Zoning Status.

Development Review Division
The Development Review Division coordinates citywide review of land use applications to assure conformance with adopted city goals, policies and design regulations. 

Building Division
The Building Division conducts structural and architectural plan review and issues building permits, including associated permits such as Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Demolition or Sign permits. The Building Division also provides inspection services to assure code compliance and public safety for all building construction within the city.

Fire Prevention Division
The Fire Department Prevention Division provides plan review and inspection services for development within the City and issues associated permits.

Code Enforcement
The Code Enforcement Officers of the City of Redmond enforce the regulations within the Municipal Code, including the Community Development Guide, generally through a complaint-based system.
