Compliance with City Codes
The Code Enforcement Officers of the City of Redmond enforce the regulations within the City of Redmond Municipal Code, including the Community Development Guide, generally through a complaint-generated system.

The City reviews all applications for development permits for zoning code compliance. The Code Enforcement Officers also review business license applications, issues sign permits and investigates complaints.

If a violation has occurred, an officer will try to resolve it first through voluntary compliance or negotiation. If this proves unfruitful, the officer may begin formal civil and/or criminal enforcement proceedings.

To report a suspected violation, please call Carl McArthy at 425-556-2412 or Deborah Farris at 425-556-2465, or e-mail the Code Enforcement Officer.
