Residential Green Permitting Pilot Program

The City of Redmond is offering a voluntary program that offers priority review for all residential applicants that build green.

  • Applicants must build 4 or 5 star Built Green or Silver, Gold, or Platinum LEED for Homes.
  • Provide verification that the project is enrolled in one of the above programs
  • Provide copy of third party verifier contract
  • Provide all applicable City of Redmond application materials
  • Provide signed Green Building Priority Review Form

The applicant who decides to build green will be offered the following convenient services from the Green Core Committee (GCC)

This committee is made up of core Development Services staff to help assist you in building green. The GCC will help you along every step of the way. Set up a meeting with essential staff

  • Intake appointment when convenient
  • Staff contact person at time of submittal 10 business days for permit turn around
  • If applicable 2-7 day response time after corrections are
    submitted
