YOUTH BASKETBALL (GRADES 1-6)
Registration for the Youth Basketball League will begin in
mid-September. Divisions of play are as follows:
Boys: Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 3, Grade 4, Grade 5, & Grade 6
Girls: Grades 1-2, Grades 3-4, & Grades 5-6
PRACTICES & GAMES
Practices will begin in mid-November. Assigned Coaches will call
team members after the October 30 coaches meeting. Coaches will
inform you of your scheduled practice time and location once they
receive team rosters and practice schedules. Teams will be
assigned a one-hour practice once (possibly twice) per week. Games
will be scheduled for Saturdays beginning in December. The season
will run approximately through most of February.
BASKETBALL OFFICIALS
Part-Time Employment Opportunities: This is an excellent part-time
employment opportunity for students, or anyone looking to get some
exercise that has a general knowledge of the sport. Contact the

VOLUNTEER COACHES
We rely on you, the volunteer, to ensure the success of the youth
basketball program. The Parks Department is now recruiting
volunteer coaches. If you are interested in contributing to the
success of this year's basketball program, please complete this form
