Are you are an individual who would like to play in one of our leagues but
you do not have a team to play with? If so, please send us an e-mail
with the following information to recreationoffice@redmond.gov.
The sport you would like to play, men, women, or co-ed, your contact
information (name, phone, e-mail), and your preferred level of play.
Spring League Softball games are scheduled to begin in late April and conclude
in late June or July.
Teams will be scheduled to play double-headers excluding post-season.
The top 4 finishing teams in each division will qualify for post-season play.
Playoffs will be single elimination format (Double Elimination For Men's
Marymoor League).
T-Shirts will be awarded to the top 2 teams in each league division. The playoff
champions receive a trophy.
Games will be played at either Redmond's Grass Lawn Park, (7031 148th AVE NE,
Redmond) or King County's Marymoor Park, (6046 West Lake Sammamish Parkway NE,
Redmond).
Registration for Spring Softball leagues begins in February.
Men's
Weeknight Grass Lawn Park League
This league will have official ASA umpires. Teams will play 20 league games (10
double-headers) starting at either 6:00pm or 8:30pm. Teams will have a regular
game night plus an occasional Friday night game. The league will consist of 32
teams playing in four divisions. Games will be played as follows: Division
I-Thursdays, Division II-Tuesdays, Division III-Mondays, and Division
IV-Wednesdays.
Men's Weeknight
Marymoor Park League
This league will have official USSSA umpires. Teams will play 16 league games (8
double-headers) starting at either 6:00pm or 8:30pm. The league will consist of
32 teams playing in four divisions. Games will be played as follows: Division
I-Tuesdays, Division II-Thursdays, Division III-Wednesdays, and Division
IV-Mondays.
MEN'S SUNDAY
Marymoor PARK LEAGUE
This league will have official ASA umpires. Teams will play 16 league games (8
double-headers) with starting times between 2pm and 7:30pm on Sundays. A maximum
of 16 teams will be accepted.
WOMEN'S WEEKNIGHT
GRASS LAWN/MARYMOOR LEAGUE
This league will have official ASA umpires. Teams will play 16 league games (8
double-headers) starting at either 6:00pm or 8:30pm. Teams will play regularly
on Thursdays. There will be 2 divisions of play. A maximum of 16 teams will be
accepted.
COED SATURDAY
GRASS LAWN PARK LEAGUE
This league will have official ASA umpires. Teams will play 16 league games (8
double-headers) starting between 10am and 6pm on Saturdays. There will be 2-3
divisions of play and a maximum of 24 teams will be accepted into the league.
There will be no restrictions on batting, except for alternating men and women
in the batting order. The defense must have at least 50% women on the field. A
12" softball will be used when men bat; an 11" softball when women
bat.
COED SUNDAY
grasslawn/MARYMOOR PARK LEAGUE
This league will have official ASA umpires. Teams will play 16 league games (8
double-headers) starting at either 3:00pm or later on Sundays. There will be 2
divisions of play and a maximum of 16 teams in the league. There will be no
restrictions on batting, except for alternating men and women in the batting
order. The defense must have at least 50% women on the field. A 12"
softball will be used when men bat; an 11" softball when women bat.
Teams play a 10 game schedule (5 doubleheaders).
League play is scheduled for late July through the first week of September.
Game days will be Monday through Friday. Leagues and Divisions will be organized
by game day.
Location of play will be Grass Lawn Park, Hartman Park, and Redmond High School.
Top teams will qualify for a post-season single-elimination Saturday playoff.
COED
weeknight SLOWPITCH
LEAGUE
There will be no restrictions on batting, except for alternating men and women
in the batting order. Defense must have at least 50% women on the field. Games will be played
primarily at Grass Lawn Park. A maximum of 60 teams will be accepted. (12
per night)
COED sunday LEAGUE
Each team will play 14 games (7 doubleheaders) with the top 4 teams in each
division qualifying for a post-season single elimination playoff the weekend
following the regular season. Games will be held at Grass Lawn Park on
Sunday afternoons. Teams will use an 11" softball when women bat
and a 12" softball while men bat.
MODIFIED JACK AND
JILL LEAGUE
Special rules include: men bat opposite hand with a 29" bat, batting order
alternates man, woman, man... The defense must have at least 50% women on the
field. Both 11" and 12" softballs will be used. A 29" bat will be
provided by Redmond Parks & Recreation Department. Games will be played at
Hartman Park. A maximum of 24 teams may register for the league. (6 teams per
night, M-Th)
The league will consist of up to 16 teams divided into 2 competitive levels.
The competitive division will play games on either Tuesdays or Thursdays and the
recreational division will play on Mondays or Wednesdays. (typically one
double-header per week)
Teams play a 10 game schedule (5 doubleheaders).
League play begins in September and runs through October.
Game nights will be Monday through Thursday. Game times: 6:00pm or 8:30pm.
Friday evenings and weekends may be used for make-up games.
Location of play will be Grass Lawn Park (7031 148th Ave NE, Redmond).
Single Elimination Tournament for top 4 teams in each division.
Top four teams in each division receive T-shirts.
Maximum of 16 teams accepted.
Minimum seven matches from April through May. (4 games/match) COED- 3 Men, 3
Women.
Game Days are Tuesdays, and possibly Thursday evenings at the Old Redmond
Schoolhouse Community Center. (typically one match per week) Matches are at
6:30pm or 8pm.
All matches will be officiated by Greater Seattle Volleyball Officials.
All players must be at least 18 years of age.
FALL COED
SELF-OFFICIATED LEAGUE
The Fall self-officiated league runs from late-September to December.
Registration packets for this program are available in August.
WINTER COED
OFFICIATED LEAGUE
The Winter officiated league runs from January to March. Registration packets
for this program will be made available to teams in November.
SPRING COED
OFFICIATE LEAGUE
The Spring officiated league runs from April to early June. Registration packets
for this program become available in February.
SUMMER 4 ON 4
OUTDOOR LEAGUE
The summer outdoor 4 on 4 self-officiated league season takes place during July
and August. Registration packets for this program are made available in May.
The league consists of a maximum of 24 teams divided into competitive and
recreation divisions.
Teams play at least 8 league games plus an end of season single elimination
tournament. Games broken into ten minute, stop clock quarters. Officials are
provided by the Pacific Northwest Basketball Officials Association.
Games are Sunday, Wednesday and/or Thursday at Redmond area schools. (1-2 games
per week)
The top 2 teams from each tournament will receive championship T-Shirts.
The league consists of a minimum of 4 and maximum of 8 teams divided into
competitive and recreation divisions if there are enough teams registered.
Teams play at least 6 league games plus a single elimination playoff.
Games broken into 20 minute running clock quarters. Officials are
provided. Games are primarily Tuesdays and occasionally Thursdays at
Redmond area schools. Shirts will be awarded to the top 2 playoff
teams.
FALL MEN'S
BASKETBALL LEAGUE
The Fall Men's season begins in late September and concludes in November.
Registration packets are made available for this program in July or August.
WINTER MEN'S
BASKETBALL LEAGUE
Winter Men's Basketball begins in December and will conclude in February.
Registration information will be available in November for this league.
WINTER/SPRING
MEN'S BASKETBALL LEAGUE
The Winter/Spring league runs from March to May. Registration information will
be made available to teams in January.
SPRING/SUMMER
MEN'S BASKETBALL LEAGUE
The Spring/Summer Men's Basketball league begins in June and concludes in
August. Registration information will be available in April for this league.
Recreational Youth Basketball League is for grade levels 1st - 6th, boys and
girls. We start registration during September and begin practices in
November. Actual games begin in December and run through February possibly
into March. More information will be posted in late
summer.
