Reservations must be made in-person at the Redmond Parks and Recreation
Department in the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center, 16600 NE 80th
Street.
- Residents may reserve up to 6 months in advance.
- Non-residents may
reserve up to 3 months in advance.
- Reservations must be made at least 10 days prior to the
request date.
- Full payment is taken at the time of reservation.
- Cancellations: With more than 30 days notice - refund, minus $10
processing fee.
- No refunds less than 30 days notice.
For
the safety of our animals, no balloons or piņatas
are allowed in the park.

Don't get caught out in the rain! This historic building offers a warm, dry place for your
party; available year round.
(An outside party area is available for reservation May-Sept.) Two-and-a-half hours (9:30am-12pm or
1-3:30pm) includes your choice of a one-hour program (pony ride,
wagon ride, or farm tour). Room for up to 25 people.

Great for birthdays, schools, and other group occasions at Farrel-McWhirter Park. This
"do-it-yourself" kit provides an age-appropriate craft, pin the tail on
the pony, and a beanbag toss game. Enjoy one of our famous wooden
milking cows and don't forget your camera to snap a picture of your
child on a western saddle, equipped with a cowboy hat, bandana, and a
bale of hay. Yee-Haw!

Travel back to the old west and take a western-style pony ride
along the trails of Farrel-McWhirter Park. Trained staff will lead child
through the trail to enjoy the beautiful environment upon the back of one of our
friendly ponies. Each ride lasts approximately 4 to 5 minutes. Maximum 12
children, with a 65 lb weight limit. Available year round. For larger
parties (up to 20), add a second pony for $100. |

A Farrel-McWhirter Farm Tour provides a fun and educational
opportunity for children to meet, feed, and learn about the farm
animals. We are home to horses, ponies, poultry, goats, sheep, rabbits, cats, Eeyore
the donkey, and seasonal animals including pigs and cows. During this
1-hour tour you will learn about this working farm and its interesting
history. Maximum 18 children.

Howdy pilgrims! 'Sit on back' and enjoy a scenic tour of
Farrel-McWhirter Park in a tractor-pulled hayride. You will travel
through the park viewing our farm animals, Mackey Creek, and other
historical sites. The average ride is 15 minutes and the wagon seats
8-10 children per ride, maximum 18 children. Available April-September. |
