Farm Theme Party Kit
Great for birthdays, schools, and other group occasions at Farrel-McWhirter Park. This "do-it-yourself" kit provides an age-appropriate craft, pin the tail on the pony, and a beanbag toss game. Enjoy one of our famous wooden milking cows and don't forget your camera to snap a picture of your child on a western saddle, equipped with a cowboy hat, bandana, and a bale of hay. Yee-Haw!  Available year round.

1) Pony Rides: Appropriate for 2-6 yr olds (50 lb. weight limit)
Travel back to the old west and take a western-style pony ride along the trails of Farrel-McWhirter Park. Trained staff will lead you and up to 11 of your friends along the trail to enjoy the beautiful environment upon the back of one of our friendly ponies. Each ride lasts approximately 4-5 minutes. Maximum 12 children, with a 50 lb weight limit. Available year round.

2) Farm Tours: Appropriate for 2-10 yr olds
A Farrel-McWhirter Farm Tour provides a fun and educational opportunity for children to meet, feed, and learn about the farm animals. We are home to ponies, fowl, goats, sheep, rabbits, cats, an alpaca, Eeyore the donkey, and seasonal animals including pigs. During this 1-hour tour you will learn about this working farm and its interesting history. Maximum 18 children.  Available year round.

3) Wagon Rides: Appropriate for 2-10 yr olds
Howdy pilgrims! 'Sit on back' and enjoy a scenic tour of Farrel-McWhirter Park in a tractor-pulled hayride. You will travel through the park viewing our farm animals, Mackey Creek, and other historical sites. The average ride is 15 minutes and the wagon seats 8-10 children per ride, maximum 18 children. Available April-September.
