Project Location:
Spiritbrook Park and
Westside Park
In recent years, the Parks and Recreation Department has been
renovating existing parks to revitalize use in the parks. Spiritbrook and Westside Parks are
older neighborhood parks in Redmond that have been identified on our
Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) for renovation. Both of the parks have
outdated play equipment, drainage issues in the fields and play courts
that required resurfacing.
The first phase of the project will provide an opportunity for the
public to participate in the planning process by identifying needs and
desires in their neighborhood park. The first public meetings
occurred on May 20th and
May 21st, where citizens came together
and brainstormed new and different concepts to revitalize the parks.
The public is invited to participate in the on-going process by
providing feedback on conceptual designs developed by the
City's consultants, The Berger Partnership, PS, based on the community
feedback. The next meetings will be
July 22nd for Westside Park and
July 30th for
Spiritbrook Park. Please come and
Please keep checking the website for future meeting dates. If you would like more information about the project, please contact:
