Park Planning is responsible for the acquisition and development of new park land, trails, and recreational facilities that protect Redmond's natural beauty, preserve environmental resources and provide quality recreational and cultural opportunities. With the participation of our boards and commissions, citizen groups, developers, staff and private organizations, the parks planning division plans for the future needs of the city.
