Picnic Shelter Reservation Information
The City of Redmond now has five parks with shelters that may be reserved for picnics taking place between April 1 and September 30 of each year. Reservation times are from 9am-2pm for the daytime rental, 4pm-dusk for the evening rental, or 9am-dusk for an all day rental. Reservations for picnic shelters must be made IN PERSON at the Old Redmond Schoolhouse Community Center, 16600 NE 80th Street, 8am-8pm Mon-Fri, 9am-1pm Saturdays. We are unable to "pencil in" a temporary hold on a shelter. See below information for prices and amenities. • A $100 refundable deposit is required for picnic shelter rentals.
• Reservations may be made after January 1st, as early as 6 months in advance for Redmond residents, 3 months in advance for non-residents.
• The half-day rates represent one of the following time slots: 9am - 2pm or 4pm - dusk.
• No reservations are made with less than 7 days notice.
• Cancellations: More than 30 days notice full refund, minus $10 processing fee.  No refunds less than 30 days notice.
• At this time, each of the following parks has one picnic area available for rent.  Anderson, Grass Lawn, Perrigo, and Idylwood Parks. Farrel-McWhirter again has two shelters.
