Sprinkler Recall, Central Sprinkler Company
The City of Redmond Fire Department is supporting a voluntary replacement program for O-ring sprinklers established by Central Sprinkler Company, an affiliate of Tyco Fire Products LP, of Lansdale, PA and the U.S. CPSC.  Tyco Fire Products has put together a comprehensive replacement program that can be utilized by any building owner that has any of the O-ring sprinklers identified as needing replacement.  Tyco will also be assisting any building owner in the identification of the affected O-ring sprinklers.  The following website and toll free phone numbers have been established to provide information to all who are affected:  www.sprinklerreplacement.com.

Building Owners 1-866-505-8553
Industry and Contractors 1-866-836-3928
Notice Packet Request Line 1-800-871-3492

This replacement program is voluntary, and as such, the RFPD will not be mandating the replacement of affected O-ring sprinklers.  We will be noting and maintaining a record of all buildings that are affected by the replacement program.  We need your help in identifying all buildings in the City of Redmond that have replacement O-ring sprinklers installed.  Contact RFPD at 425-556-2246 or email us with the following information:
  • Building Address;
  • Type, number and approximate age of replacement O-ring sprinklers; and
  • Indicated timeframe for replacement.

Contact RFPD for the most current permit issuance requirements on these replacement O-ring sprinklers.
