Mayor John Marchione has hit the ground running at the start of
his first term with a vision that includes a plan for changing how the
City defines its priorities for 2008 and beyond. This plan calls
for instituting an innovative budgeting process called Budgeting by
Priorities (BP). While this budgeting approach will be new to
Redmond, it has already proven to be a very effective tool for a number
of communities throughout our state and the country. To learn more

The City of Redmond adopts a biennial budget which is reflected
in a monthly financial report prepared by the Finance Department. This
report focuses on the larger operating funds and accounts of the City.
