Everyone
has a wish list of things that would make their lives or programs better, but
the funds never quite seem to be available in the regular budget. This is
such a list for the City of Redmond, compiled by various City departments.
Please review the items on the list and see if anything appeals to you and is
within your budget to donate. You can purchase all or part of an item,
whatever fits your vision or your pocketbook.
For information on how to donate, please call
Talley Hudson, Executive Assistant, 425-556-2101.

RiverWalk is a 1.3-mile stretch along the Sammamish River through
downtown Redmond that consists of habitat enhancements and pedestrian amenities.
The RiverWalk project is a collection of actions to enhance the river for
environmental integrity and as a people-oriented gathering place. Donations can
be made towards the purchase of park furniture, such as benches for the 90th
Street Bridge or water fountains along the river trail. With the transfer of the
Dudley Carter house to the City of Redmond, the City will be moving forward on
the development of the trailhead at Leary Way and 159th. The Emerald Heights
kiosk will be repositioned to that site and the area will be enhanced. Donations
can be made towards benches or a water fountain next to the kiosk at the
trailhead site.
