Everyone
has a wish list of things that would make their lives or programs better, but
the funds never quite seem to be available in the regular budget. This is
such a list for the City of Redmond, compiled by various City departments.
Please review the items on the list and see if anything appeals to you and is
within your budget to donate. You can purchase all or part of an item,
whatever fits your vision or your pocketbook.
For information on how to donate, please call
Talley Hudson, Executive Assistant, 425-556-2101.

The Aid Car Donation Fund provides funds that are used exclusively for the
purchase of medical & rescue related supplies and equipment that otherwise
would not
be purchased out of the Fire Department's normal operating budget. With rapidly
escalating costs and technology improvements, this fund provides an opportunity to
acquire equipment in a timely manner to benefit firefighter emergency
scene efficiency and effectiveness.
Used to assist firefighters in locating victims trapped in low visibility
situations such as smoke filled rooms and outdoor search and rescue in darkness
or heavy brush environments. This camera would be readily available for Police
Department use on request. Additionally, this tool provides the ability to
detect hidden fire or hot spots quickly with minimal damage to the structure.
Our Department's goal is to outfit every engine with one of these units.
Imaging Camera Cost: $12,000 or any portion thereof into a dedicated donation fund.
