Public Meeting on Thursday, May 21, 2009

A public meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 21, 2009 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at Redmond City Hall (15670 NE 85 Street).  Click on the link provided to see more about this upcoming meeting.

Community Open House on Thursday, September 20, 2007

A public meeting was held on the evening of September 20, 2007 at Redmond City Hall.  Approximately 30 residents in attendance had the opportunity to see project exhibits and discuss West Lake Sammamish Parkway improvements with City of Redmond staff.  Project features reviewed include:

  • 4 travel lanes and a center turn lane with painted medians on West Lake Sammamish Parkway
  • a 2-lane roundabout at the intersection of West Lake Sammamish Parkway and Bel-Red Road
  • a sidewalk on the west side of the road
  • continuation of the multi-use trail on the east side of West Lake Sammamish Parkway from NE 51 Street to Bel-Red Road
  • undergrounding of overhead power and other utilities
  • street lighting
  • landscaping
  • drainage improvements
  • replacement of the culvert at 5050 West Lake Sammamish Parkway and stream restoration work to reduce flooding, enhance habitat, and reduce maintenance
