Funding large transportation projects takes coordination among many
different partners. The City has access to several different
sources of funding and often must pursue all of them to piece together
adequate funding for any given project.
The Transportation Improvement Program
details the funding plans for the City's transportation construction
projects. Funding is also necessary for the City's other
transportation programs and also comes from a variety of sources.
One funding source for both the programs and construction projects comes
from the Business Tax/Transportation Improvements Committee (BTTI).
