Explore the Pioneering Spirit
2012 was the centennial year for the City of Redmond and to celebrate we launched the Redmond Arts Season with the theme TAKE ROOT, BRANCH OUT.
Between December 2011 and May 2012, TAKE ROOT, BRANCH OUT, explored the pioneering spirit through film, literature, public art and more. These arts events offered insight into the many dimensions of Redmond’s pioneering spirit and shared new perspectives on the question: what type of pioneer does Redmond need in the next 100 years?
