The Redmond Arts and Culture Commission (RACC) is a nine-member, Mayor-appointed, Council-confirmed advisory commission. The Commission advises the City on arts policies and programming and sponsors programs in tandem with the Redmond Parks and Recreation Department and community organizations.

Beginning on Thursday, April 12, 2018 we will be moving our Arts and Culture Commission meetings back to the City Hall Council Conference Room, 15670 NE 85th Street.  Meetings begin at 6:30 p.m.

Become a Youth Advocate

Youth Advocates give input to the Arts and Culture Commission on matters such as programming and art in the community. They lend important perspective to the Redmond Arts and Culture Commission, learn about public service, network and serve within the arts community, and explore career opportunities.

  • Are you 16-26 years old and live, work or study in Redmond?
  • Do you want to network with others in the arts community?
  • Would you like to share your views about culture in your community?
  • Do you want to get involved with the visual, performing, or literary arts?
  • Do you have three to four hours per month to serve your community?
