1. Weekly Yard Waste Service

Background:  Redmond currently has yard waste services every other week from December through February.   This has meant fewer trucks on the road increasing safety and decreasing greenhouse gas emissions.  The City has surveyed the yard waste route and found few customers have a full or overflowing cart during this time of year.

Question:  Would you like to have weekly yard waste service, including December through February, for a small rate increase?

2. Storefront
Background: Some cities are now offering shops where customers can recycle items that may not be recyclable at the curb, such as CFL light bulbs, household batteries, old textiles, small electronics and appliances, block Styrofoam and bikes. The stores also sell recycled products and items that encourage waste reduction.
