Redmond, WA -
Traffic in downtown Redmond will be impacted during rush hour traffic through the evening commute while Puget Sound Energy (PSE) crew replaces broken power pole. PSE is currently on the scene with an estimated time of completion approximately 6pm.
A power pole at the intersection of 168th Ave NE and Redmond Way is cracked in half and must be replaced for public safety purposes. Traffic signals at 168th Ave NE and Avondale Way along Redmond Way may be down while pole is being replaced.
Businesses on the north side of Redmond Way from 16800 to about 16000 could lose power for up to eight hours.
One lane of Redmond Way at 168th, westbound, is currently closed for safety. One westbound lane is still open with intermittent closures expected. Commuters are encouraged to use side streets.
