• So Bazaar

August 16, 23 & 30, 2018

Redmond So Bazaar

Start your weekend early at So Bazaar, a pop-up night market held on three Thursday evenings in August. For the fifth year, the So Bazaar Night Market will fill the streets of Downtown Redmond with music, shopping, and food in other-worldly settings.

This year, the event will explore extraordinary artistic, musical and culinary experiences through the lens of Art Nouveau; a movement at the turn of the 20th century that celebrated art as a way of life and that all things could be art. So Bazaar, So Nouveau!

Join us on the Redmond Central Connector on August 16, 23 and 30 for this very special event.

Artists

Jennifer Szabo

Jen Szabo is an Eastside based artist that has been working in the landscape architecture, design, and art space for over 15 years. Her art is influenced by her connection to landscape and its forms, and is infused with her creative sensibilities. This year at So Bazaar, the event will feature Jen’s art installation, “Seed Bearing Wind”, along the Redmond Central Connector throughout the entire So Bazaar event series. Exploring the ideas of seasonality and rebirth, she gravitated toward the dandelion as the subject of the work and has created a network of dandelion chandeliers that will be illuminated under the stars each night.
