The Transportation Master Plan Update

We are updating the Transportation Master Plan

The Transportation Master Plan (TMP) sets a course for Redmond to follow in developing and managing its transportation system. It also sets a course for the City’s involvement with other cities and agencies in developing regional networks, including a High Capacity Transit system connecting centers in Redmond with centers throughout the Puget Sound region. The TMP describes programs, projects and actions to be taken by the City from now to the year 2022. The TMP also describes the ultimate multimodal transportation network that Redmond will achieve as the City approaches “build out” in the years after 2022.

City Council Adopts Overlake Neighborhood Residential Area Plan Update

The Redmond City Council adopted updates to the Overlake Neighborhood Residential Area plan on Tuesday, August 17, 2010.

If you like, below are documents that help show the plan's progression.  Included are the concerns and changes that were addressed as part of the City's review process.

Residents can begin to work with the neighborhood's "3rd Document".  This is a working document that helps neighborhood citizens identify and prioritize action items for nearer term consideration and/or implementation.  Westside Neighborhood Park View of Cascades

As part of Redmond's new Neighborhood Network effort, staff will check in with the neighborhood on an annual basis to maintain and update the "3rd Document".
