Citizen Advisory Committee Completes Plan Recommendation
The Southeast Redmond Neighborhood CAC held its last meeting on November 12th and made its final recommendations to the City regarding neighborhood plan amendments. The CAC's meeting documents can be found on the CAC's meeting page
The recommended plan amendments represent over one year of the CAC's work. Their research and consideration of Southeast Redmond's long-term future included all aspects of living, working, recreating, shopping, traveling and more in relation to the neighborhood.
The neighborhood plan update process will continue during the first half of 2014. Staff will present the plan to Redmond's Arts Commission, Parks and Trails Commission, and Pedestrian/Bicycle Advisory Committee in advance of the Planning Commission's review.
During the first quarter of 2014, the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing for neighborhood comment. Notice of this hearing will be provided here, on the neighborhood Facebook page and in its monthly newsletter, and by postcard to residences and businesses within the neighborhood as well as to those who have indicated an interest in the plan update process.
