The Redmond Transportation Master Plan (TMP) is an element of the City's Comprehensive Plan, and is the document that guides Redmond’s transportation investment and activities. It was first adopted in 2005. Now, seven years later, the TMP is due for an update. This 2013 update was developed using a strategic framework that incorporates the City's vision, feedback from the community, and an analysis of the challenges and opportunities facing Redmond. Below you will find more information about the five TMP strategies along with links to the draft document.

TMP Strategies
Downtown and Overlake will absorb most housing and employment growth in Redmond over the next twenty years. The TMP proposes new infrastructure and services to accommodate the expected growth in travel demand.
Throughout the process of developing the TMP, we heard again and again that members of the Redmond community want access to a diverse set of travel options, including bicycling, walking, and transit. Explore how the TMP helps you leave your car behind.
East Link light rail begins service to Overlake in 2023. Learn how Redmond is preparing for this major new regional connection.
Connections help knit communities together, improve safety, and make the transportation system more efficient. The TMP adds connections across Redmond.
The TMP will help ensure that Redmond businesses continue to benefit from the reliable movement of goods and services.
