Annual “State of the City” Address Presented at One Redmond Luncheon

  —Redmond Mayor John Marchione presented his annual “State of the City” address during the April One Redmond Membership Luncheon held Thursday, April 11th. The address was recorded and is available to view On Demand at the City’s website.

Mayor Marchione covered a number of topics and priorities central to the City’s health and success including: Demographic, employment, housing and economic trends; development activity, infrastructure, transportation and open space management, regional partnerships and long-range vision for Redmond’s neighborhoods including Downtown and Overlake. The Mayor’s address was preceded by Lake Washington School District’s “State of the District” presentation shared by LWSD Superintendent Dr. Traci Pierce.

Mayor Marchione will discuss a number of similar topics during a presentation on Friday, May 3 from 10am-11am at the Redmond Senior Center as part of their monthly First Friday Coffee Chat series.
