The City of Redmond encourages public participation in the planning process. During the land use application process there are a number of stages where the public is encouraged to participate.
Notice of Application and State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA)
These are processes that notify the public of a project and encourage public participation. These notices are posted on-site and mailed to property owners in close proximity to a project site.
Hearings and Appeals
These provide an opportunity for the public to comment on a project that can lead to an alternative decision or project outcome. A notice will be posted on-site and mailed to property owners in close proximity to a project site.
Neighborhood meetings are led by a project applicant to foster discussion of their project. A notice will be mailed to property owners in close proximity to a project site.
