Online Permits
Online Permits
City role: direct
Percentage of permits issued online as a percentage of permits available to be issued online.

About 80 percent of permits that can be issued online are issued online, and the percentage has increased steadily in the last three years.

In January 2013 the City deployed new permit software. The E-Track portal allows community members to track permits online while the E-Review portal allows applicants and staff to upload and review materials electronically. The online permit system saves Development Services Center customers a trip to City Hall, reducing time and monetary costs.

The decrease in permits applied for online as a percentage of total permits is attributable to the change in permit tracking software used by the City.
