Future Youth Advocates

Are you 16-19 years old and live in the City of Redmond?
Are you interested in the arts and attend school in Redmond?
Do you have any skills or interests that would help the Arts Commission succeed in fulfilling their mission, "A Community Inspired and Connected by Arts and Culture?"
Are you interested in sharing your views about art matters that are important to young people by providing a "youth voice" for Arts in Redmond?
Would you like to get involved in projects related to the visual, performing, literary arts, or arts education?
Are you looking for a rewarding and enriching experience working with adult mentors in the arts?
Do you have three to four hours a month to do something interesting and which is an important community service to the City of Redmond?

Well, if you were a Youth Advocate on the Redmond Arts Commission, you would be doing all this and more! The Redmond Arts Commission is a great place for youth to get involved in the community. Pick up an Application Form at Redmond City Hall, 15670 NE 85th Street, 4th Floor or download a copy in PDF or in Word format here. We will consider applications again in 2011.

Youth advocates who join the Commission are able to do an optional project during their time on the Commission. For more details and information download the Youth Advocate Project
