Funding

The Arts Commission receives funding from a variety of sources:

City General Fund - annual $1.50 per capita that is spent on specific areas of programming in Performing/Literary Arts, Arts Education/Grants and Visual Arts/Acquisition and general fund transfer for administration costs
Admission charges to events - ex: Winter Performance Series
Concessions - includes artist’s % for selling items i.e. CD’s, T-shirts, artwork
Miscellaneous Revenue - reimbursements, etc
Art Manual Sales
1% for Art funds - % for art funds come from eligible Capital Improvement Projects
