Without volunteers, Redmond community events could not happen.
Events such as Derby Days use the talents of hundreds of community
volunteers. The City still needs additional volunteers for
this year's Derby Days, Saturday, July 11. Come help with kids
activities, event support and event clean-up following the
fireworks.
This is a fun way to help out the community, enjoy the sunshine,
meet new friends and score a great free t-shirt. In addition,
studies show volunteering is associated with many health benefits.
It increases self esteem, lowers blood pressure, reduces stress on
the body and even bolsters the immune system!
