The City has one opening on the Parks and Trails Commission that
must be filled by a person living outside the city limits but with a
Redmond address. Experience as an equestrian is desired.
If you fit that criteria and think Redmond's parks and recreation
are high priorities, you are invited to apply.
Parks and Trails Commission members advise and make recommendations
to the Mayor and City Council concerning acquisition, amenities,
improvements, resources and uses of parks, trails and recreation
facilities, as well as improvements to and resources for
recreational programming. They meet on the first Thursday
evening of the month at City Hall.
Applicants must complete a community service application.
Applications will continue to be accepted until the vacancy is
