This year, the City of Redmond's Arts in the Parks summer
performance series runs from July 14 to August 25. The arts
series features a colorful line up of free outdoor performances and
participatory events for the whole family. Special children's
performances are every Tuesday at noon, while events for the whole
family are Friday evenings at 7pm.
Participants are encouraged to bring a picnic and a low-backed chair
or blanket and relax with an entertaining hour of music or theater.
All performances are held on the lawn behind Redmond City Hall,
15670 NE 85th Street.
"Redmond offers a wide variety of arts opportunities from public art
to theater," states Mary Yelanjian, City Arts Administrator.
"Come, relax and enjoy yourself at a summer afternoon or evening
performance. Parking at City Hall is available and free so
bring a picnic and get ready to have a wonderful time."
