Friday Night Live is a new addition to this year's Redmond Derby
Days Summer Festival. On Friday, July 10 from 6 to 10pm the
Redmond City Hall Campus at 15670 NE 85th Street will come alive
with the sounds of rock and roll.
This free concert and dance will feature three local bands.
Universal Soul, the winner of the Old Firehouse Teen Center Classic
Rockathon, will kick it off with another local band to follow.
The headliner is one of the area's premier party bands, the
Beatniks. A beer and wine garden with food will provide a
great spot for both people and band watching.
Friday Night Live is the newest addition to the Derby Days Summer
Festival currently in its 69th year. It is made possible
through the generosity of Black Raven Brewery, Flying Saucer Pizza
and Machine Entertainment.
In addition, the Old Fire House Teen Center will host a movie night
with Transformers showing from 10 to midnight on the lawn at City
Hall.
