Neighborhood Parks Beginning Process of Redesign

The City of Redmond is beginning the planning process for two existing neighborhood parks, Spiritbrook Park in the Grass Lawn neighborhood and Westside Park across SR 520 in the Overlake neighborhood.

The community is invited to one or both of the open houses introducing the projects.  The meeting for Westside Park is on Wednesday, May 20 from 7 to 8:30pm, while the meeting for Spiritbrook Park is on Thursday, May 21 from 7 to 8:30pm.  Both meetings will be held in the library of Ben Rush Elementary School, 6101 152nd Avenue NE, Redmond.

Neither park has been renovated in over 10 years and is due for major renewal.  A consultant will be on hand to show examples of innovative park design and special activities will be available for children.

For questions regarding these projects, contact Jean Rice, Park Management Analyst, 425-556-2378 or jrice@redmond.gov
