Several volunteer opportunities are currently available within
the City of Redmond. Redmond community events utilize the
talents of hundreds of community volunteers. The City is
currently recruiting volunteers for the 2009 Derby Days and
RedmondLights events. For Redmond students, community service
hours do apply.
Vacancies are currently available on the RedmondLights steering
committee. Would you enjoy serving as chair of the kid's
activities or volunteers? Join other Redmond residents and business
people and help plan this annual event. Your talents and time are
needed.
Do you enjoy the satisfaction of helping others and giving to your
community? Studies show many health benefits associated with
volunteering. It increases self esteem, lowers blood pressure,
reduces stress on the body and even bolsters the immune system.
