Five new classes have been added to the Old Redmond Schoolhouse
Community Center line-up this spring. Just in time for warmer
weather, new classes include container design, landscape design,
vegetable gardening and pruning.
The instructor of these gardening classes, Nancy Tom, has almost 10
years experience creating, installing and maintaining gardens in
Seattle and the Eastside. "These classes are designed to help
independent, handy people learn some basic principles to start
thinking about their landscapes," stated Nancy Tom. "Attendees can
expect to walk away with a number of great ideas that will help them
conserve resources and water, while at the same time, make their
gardens more self-sustaining and easier to care for."
