Bear Creek Neighborhood Plan to Kick-off

The Mayor and other Redmond City officials will kick-off the Bear Creek neighborhood plan update with a City Services Fair for residents on Monday, April 13 from 5 to 7pm at Redmond City Hall, 15670 NE 85th Street.

The Bear Creek neighborhood plan was last updated in the mid-1990s and is due for a comprehensive review.  Undertaking the plan update now also supports and coordinates with other City studies underway in the area.

"This is an early opportunity to share ideas about the topics we will address in the plan update," noted Jeff Churchill, City Planner.  "Also, staff from several departments will attend to share information about existing and upcoming capital projects, as well as ongoing activities that are available to neighborhoods, such as alternative commute options."

Mayor Marchione will give opening remarks around 5:15pm, followed by a short presentation by City staff.  In order to provide appropriate refreshments, please RSVP by April 9 to Daphne Harold at 425-556-2421 or dharold@redmond.gov.  Include name and contact information to allow City staff to keep you informed throughout the process.

For more information about the plan update, visit our website.   Those who cannot attend the City Services Fair can complete a neighborhood survey available online, and can forward their comments to Jeff Churchill at 425-556-2492 or jchurchill@redmond.gov.
