You know that old vase Aunt Millie gave you a while back?
It's time to find out if it's worth anything more than your
memories. An antique and collectable appraisal event
will be held on Saturday, May 31 from 9am to 3pm at the
Redmond Senior Center, 8703 160th Avenue NE.
Registration is strongly advised and begins on April 16 for
Redmond residents and April 23 for all others. The
registration fee is $5 per item with a limit of 6 items per
person. Walk ins without prior registration will be
admitted as time allows.
Professional appraisers will be on hand to give verbal
evaluations of items in the following categories.
General line antiques will be appraised by Kathleen Victor
of Victor Appraisal Services; dolls, toys and bears by Leone
McMullen and Teresa Lehmbeck of Riverton Cottage Antiques;
antique jewelry by Karen Lorene of Facere Jewelry Art
Gallery; quilts by Betty Bell of Guildmark Appraisal and
Estate Sale Service; fine art by Duane Benoit with over 20
years experience in fine art appraisal; sport memorabilia by
Marco Spear of Kirkland Sports Cards and books by Dacia
Hanson, certified antiquarian. Furniture is not able
to be accepted.
Registration can be in-person at the Redmond Senior Center
or call 425-556-2314 for additional information or to have a
registration packet mailed out.
