The Redmond Police and Fire Departments responded to a
fire that damaged the Bear Creek Professional Center early
Wednesday morning.
There were no injuries from the blaze which began shortly after
5:00 a.m. at the 171st block of Avondale Way. The cause is unknown,
but it is being investigated as a suspicious fire. Most of the
damage involved the Children’s Eye Doctors practice of Thomas Lenart
while the other four offices in the building had minor damage.
All offices in the building will be closed today, including The
Family Eye Doctors; Woodlawn Optical of Redmond; David Atherton
Pediatric Dentistry; and Stanley Gile Orthodontics.
