Proceeds benefit local community projects Bring
the kids and join in on the fun! City of Redmond presents
Eggstravaganza, a traditional egg hunt, pancake breakfast,
flashlight hunt and family dance.
Enjoy the festivities March 22, 8 to 11:30 am and 7 to 10 pm at
the Redmond Senior Center, 8703 160th Avenue NE, Redmond. The day
begins early at 8 am with a pancake breakfast served by the Redmond
Lions Club. Breakfast will be served until 11 am. The traditional
egg hunt begins at 10 am. Also throughout the morning, enjoy kids’
arts and crafts, face painting, photos with Mr. Bunny and more.
As a separate evening festivity, there will be a flashlight egg
hunt and family dance from 7 to 10 pm. Designed with older kids and
parents in mind, the evening will include crafts and games,
desserts, a DJ and dancing.
“We began the flashlight egg hunt last year and it was a great
success,” noted Jill Smith, Events and Marketing Administrator for
the City. “This group of evening activities gives older kids a time
to have fun looking for eggs and dancing to a DJ.”
