Landmark & Heritage Commission Vacancy

The City of Redmond invites applications for one vacancy on the Landmark and Heritage Commission that must be filled by a Redmond resident. This Commission is charged with promoting the preservation of local historic resources, designating local historic landmarks and reviewing applications to alter or demolish designated landmarks.

The new member will be appointed for a term of three years. Members can serve for no more than two consecutive terms. The Landmark and Heritage Commission consists of two special members together with the Redmond Design Review Board. The Commission meets on Thursday evenings only when there is an item of business.

Interested applicants should contact the Mayor’s office at 425-556-2101 or download a community service application form from the web. Mail the completed application to the Office of the Mayor, City of Redmond, PO Box 97010, Redmond, WA 98073-9710 or fax to 425-556-2110. If available, include a resume or summary of related experience. All board and commission members are volunteers.
