Community Meetings for Two Redmond Parks

On Thursday, March 6, beginning at 7 pm in the Bytes Café on the first floor of City Hall, 15670 NE 85th Street, the Redmond Parks and Trails Commission will hold two public meetings. The first is regarding revisions to natural turf softball fields 2 and 3 proposed for Grass Lawn Park, and the second will present a draft design for the Perrigo Park Master Plan update.

RVLA, Inc. Landscape Architects, the consultant for Grass Lawn Park, will present plans for a new field configuration, restoration of the softball backstops, field lighting and additional open space and landscaping, all of which have been developed in accordance with the 2001Grass Lawn Park Renovation Plan. After the presentation, there will be a time for questions and comments from those present.

Following the conclusion of that meeting, Barker Landscape Architects will present a draft design for Perrigo Park. The Perrigo Park Master Plan update was first reviewed at the January 3rd Parks and Trails Commission meeting. At that time, public comment was taken on three conceptual designs for the master plan update. This meeting is an opportunity to comment on the draft design before it goes to City Council members for their first review.
