The City of Redmond Police Department urges everyone to use
extreme caution if driving within the city limits today and to only
drive if absolutely necessary.
Redmond Police have responded to several automobile collisions
caused by snow and ice conditions on the roads while several
citizens have reported unsafe conditions. Roads are being
closed as needed while Public Works continues to work on the
conditions and as they are reported to police. Many of the
roads are on hills and in the Rose Hill area.
Due to the high volume of calls, the police department asks those
involved in collisions caused by these weather conditions that do
not involve injuries to please exchange insurance information rather
than calling 911. This allows the officers to respond to those
people have sustained injuries.
If you are aware of unsafe road conditions, please call the
Redmond Police Department by dialing 911.
