The City of Redmond is holding a Planning Commission public
hearing to update the Comprehensive Plan policies for high capacity
transit on Wednesday, January 23 at 7pm in the Council Chambers at
Redmond City Hall, 15670 NE 85th Street.
With the City Council adoption of a preliminary preferred
alignment for high capacity transit from Overlake to Downtown
Redmond, it is necessary to amend the Comprehensive Plan policies to
reflect this and other transit planning efforts to date, in order to
provide consistency in City planning documents. The Planning
Commission encourages the public to provide input on the proposal at
the hearing.
