A variety of exhibits showing ways residents and businesses can
bring sustainability into their everyday lives will be displayed in
the main lobby of Redmond City Hall, 15670 NE 85th Street, from
Friday, October 5 through Friday October 12 during regular business
hours 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
“Redmond is a very livable community and we want it to stay that
way,” says Mayor Rosemarie Ives. “Local decisions matter, so
starting with the City and what its employees can do towards
sustainability, both individually and collectively, is an important
next step.”
The exhibits also highlight some of the things the City is doing
to help create a more sustainable Redmond, including purchasing
hybrid and bio-diesel capable vehicles, encouraging employees to use
methods other than the single occupant vehicle to get to work and
building City Hall with methods and materials that support
sustainability.

efforts, contact Jon Spangler, Natural Resources Manager at
